Our History
Ciret was founded in 1961 as Homekey Limited and became a leading supplier of quality paint brushes in the South of England. In 2005 Homekey was acquired by the Ciret Group and renamed Ciret Ltd. In 2011 Ciret Holdings merged with Storch Holdings and formed the Storch-Ciret group with a head office in Wuppertal, Germany.
This merger has made us the market leader for painting and decorating tools in Europe.
Our Production Facilities
With our own manufacturing plants across Europe and China, we are able to produce more than 50% of our entire product range and are the No. 1 manufacturer of rollers in Europe.
Pelhrimov, in the Czech Republic, is our main European production facility. This has enabled us, throughout these challenging times, to maintain good product stock levels and keep our retailers supplied when demand surged during lockdown.
Producing in our own factories has many advantages for our customer. We can guarantee supply, consistent quality, and fulfilment of special requests. Production throughout all our factories is managed to maintain the highest quality levels possible, giving our customer base confidence in our brands and ranges.
Logistics
Ciret has logistics and packaging centres across Europe including the UK, Germany, Latvia and the Czech Republic. Additional warehouses in Belgium, France, Spain, Finland, Romania and Russia allow the Storch-Ciret Group to fulfil customer orders quickly and reliably across the whole of Europe and beyond.

Our extensive product range allows both professional contractors and DIY enthusiasts to efficiently and cost-effectively accomplish their decorating projects.
The Ciret brands have been designed to provide quality solutions for the full lifecycle of a decorating project, starting with the preparation stage and going right through to the finishing touches.
Ciret’s own key brands are ROTA! - paint rollers and roller accessories, Kana – paint brushes and accessories, masq - masking tape and film, prep – preparation products, and Beeline – wallpaper adhesives and fillers.
In addition, we supply third-party products from Trimaco, who are specialists in surface protection, and Red Devil, the trusted brand for fillers and sealants. Furthermore, we hold the European licence for products from the Stanley range.
