We would like to take the time to give our valued customers a brief update on the current situation here at Ciret.
Since the start of lockdown, over 7 weeks ago, Ciret has rigorously followed all the Government guidelines that have been put in place to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. We have successfully managed to stay open for the entire time, supplying key businesses from within the painting and decorating industry
As of Wednesday, the 13th of May we are following the new ‘Staying Covid-19 Secure in 2020’ guidelines and can confirm that we comply with the government’s guidance on managing the risk of Covid-19 in the workplace.
We have followed the “five steps” to work together safely:
- A Covid-19 risk assessment has been carried out and shared with the Ciret team
- Cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures have been put in place, in line with the guidance
- All reasonable steps to help our employees work from home have been taken
- The 2m distance in the workplace is being followed
- We’ve done everything we can to manage the transmission risk, where team members are unable to work 2m apart
A number of our employees have been working from home and will continue to do so. For the people working in our warehouse and office, who cannot do their work from home, we have implemented a safe working environment, following strict rules on distancing and hygiene. Instructions for both warehouse and office workers have been shared and are visible in communal areas. PPE equipment is supplied and used by people in our production facility, where the advised 2m distance cannot be maintained. Hand sanitisers have been located throughout the warehouse and office buildings
The whole team here at Ciret is working together to run a safe workplace for all and although it’s been a challenge, we’ve managed, throughout lockdown to keep our deliveries and production running to supply customers. Our stocks of products have remained good also. Following the new guidelines, we are now able to increase production and will be back to our ‘next day delivery promise' shortly.
We would also like to say a massive thank you to our loyal customers, both old and new, who have continued to place orders with us, whilst being extremely understanding about any delays or problems with delivery timings.
